I gambled

Gambling is also touted to be bad, but sometimes taking a risk is pretty fun too.

Of course, I don't mean the casinos. I'm rather young.

(Okay, maybe that was a bad lead in. But I couldn't resist - I'm young, I'm young, I'm young!)

On Saturday, I took a gamble. It was a pretty huge gamble for me because I have never been much of an adventurous sort - I like my going outs somewhat planned. At least, tell me who I'm going to meet!

But Leonard was such an awesome planner - pun not intended! he's really nice - that I decided to go anyway. Even when he refuse to reply me when I asked who's going.

So I met him, Mervyn, Jian Wei and Kenneth Yau. Yays, me and 4 very tall army boys. I tried to muster my way as best as I can with army talk (thank god for practice), had some intelligent conversation and a rather uncomfortable neck ache from looking up at giants. I only felt better when fellow dwarf Eehong joined us.

Alas, another army boy.

It was better during Prince of Persia when we were all seated and somewhat at eye level. (I sat really straight.) It was rather weird to have 5 guys waiting for you though, when you visit the loo after the movie.

Luckily HuiJing balanced the gene pool somewhat with her presence. At least, I don't look like somebody's sister tagging along, or some insecure girlfriend.

It was so much better when Lianghao, SC and Hazel joined us. I felt more... Hmms. Though I had fun with just the guys, I think we're awesome. (: It just somehow got fun-er when HuiJing, and then the guys joined.

And 'we' includes you, Aileen. (:
