Blogskin by Yanny :)

Tuesday, March 24

The shopaholic bug bit me and refuse to let go.
My list of have-to-buys, gotta-buys and must-get-NOWs
is getting longer. Think scroll.

1. Dress.
2. Wait, make that dresses.
3. Topshop bag, though Mom thinks it's weird looking.
.
.
.
49. Dark wash jeans
50. Heels

So it was with this kickass list that I went shopping,
with Momma (aka buyer of the day)at Marina Square.

It was pretty great shopping
[I bought 2 heels! (:]
though the mall of freakingly quiet.
So much so that the salesperson would pounce on you,
the minute you enter the store.

Thank god for the few tourists there.

ANYWAY.
The shopping didnt help!
Except to tempt me further.

There is this giddy happiness in trying on shoe after shoe,
dress after dress, and making a beeline for the dressing room.
Maybe it's the influence of the shopaholic series,
and its movie with Isla Fisher in it...
but shopping is GREAT! (:

Yanny, I didn't say therapic,
so I'm still sane! (:
Shopping to me is probably
clubs' flea markets are to you.

There were SO MANY pretty things,
all begging to be bought.
So this became my new list:
.
.
.
99. Zara top
100. Mango dress

Hmms.
I suddenly feel very happy to be working soon. (:

Blog dead : Checked.
Been going out [Huijing's orders! :D] : Checked.
Been playing games : Checked! ((:

I'm still addicted to games! (:
So much so that I'm pestering Michael to download entire games for me.
I've got two full games now! (:

But unlike what you guys think,
I have been going out.

WEDNESDAY
I went to ITE College West with the gang;
Krado, Yanny and Silas.
The place is SOOOOO far.
AND THEY WERE ALL LATE! >:(

But it was pretty fun to visit Mr Pok - all retired!
Only to work at the ITE, with a promotion. (:
He showed us around the ITE's media studio,
or "MediaITE Studios". :D
MediaBiz Studios, get it, get it?

It was pretty cool... they have plasma TVs!
And we are still using the huge bulky 90s type. -_-
But granted, our studio is way way LARGER and BETTER. ((:
After all, our studio is like, 10 years old.

And of course, Krado had to smoke and smoke and SMOKE.
No complaints here, except we had to wait for him to finish up so that we can get moving.
I R R I T A T I N G . Haha. BOO KRADS!
[I know you read, so TAG.]

FRIDAY
Bugis with Momma, Gran and Yvonne.
See! I'm a good girl,
for which I'm gonna be rewarded with a Bombay Sapphire. (:

It was pretty fun,
though we ate and ate AND ate - Billy Bombers and Crystal Jade.
It was terrible at the Bugis outlet; the noodles were barely cooked,
but the waitress and then the manager insisted it's supposed to be like that.
Go to the Orchard outlet - that's heaven! (:

But it was weird to have Yvonne's friends stalking us..
Ivan and some nicer guy with a Chinese name I can't recall.
Is being fourteen so boring?
Hmms.

SATURDAY
Peisi's birthday - it was pretty fun! (:
Kat had to get all the presents as usual, while everyone only paid. Haha.
We went to the Pump Room at Clarke Quay,
where the very enthu manager sang the birthday song
in 4 languages for her no less! - English, Chinese, Malay and Filipino! O.o

Here's who went:
Me and Kat..

Me and Michael..

and a tower! O.o
I never had a tower at my table before.

And the staff was nice enough to take pictures for us..
by turning the camera to take pictures of himself! - funny!

Finally, a picture of us all. (:
ZhangYao, Michael (Weyzi), Jojo, Kat, Willie,
JunGang , birthday girl Peisi, Cat and Graham.

And.. well, guys.
And our own Happy Tree Friends! :D

Then 'Grey-ham' [grey hound?] dared Michael:
to try the Chilli Tequila shot at Cafe Iguana.
It really sounds innocent,
especially for Michael-10-shots-is-not-a-problem.

Killer in hand..

Until you see his face! -
discomfort, disgust, PUKE!
It's the second time I saw him puke, haha!

Then ZhangYao decided to give it a go too,
and everyone had a sniff of puke-a-drink.

Before Chilli Tequila.

After Chilli Tequila.

Hah! That's for calling me underaged girl.
Seriously, they all thought I was 17 or 18. O.o
Do I look that young?
RAWR! I'm not underaged,
and I don't need have a fixed bedtime!

I need releaseeeeeeee!

*smiles*
So, I've been playing games non-stop,
bored as I am and having zilch dramas
AND zero social life.

I'm not even allowed out with Michael often! O.o
*sighs*

But I love love LOVE! bigfish games.
It's FUNNNNN! (:

But anyway, when I did go out:
THURS.
Dimsum buffet with the gang,
third time this holidays. HAHA.
It's really pretty good! ((:
But they made us ordered all the side dishes,
so we couldn't have a lot of dimsum. ):

AND someone was pretty pretty UNGLAM,
scarfing whole wings into his mouth
and spitting the bones out.
Get this: he did it WHILE TALKING.

Then, we had a healthy walk to Boat Quay,
and popped by Eski Bar for beer. -_-
I like Eski - it looks so cozy and comfy,
without looking like a guy+football waterhole,
like PennyBlack.
It's perfect for parties, no? (:

Then, SATURDAY.
Fb games, bigfish games, football game.
Manchester United vs Liverpool.
1 - 4 !!!!!!!!!! )):

Michael just popped a match in my face,
and with 4 of his guyfriends along.
His bestie's there of course - beer.

I don't fancy beer so much,
so he got me a jug of GT all to myself. (:

We drank at Platinum Lounge,
where I watched my first whole football match,
and first bet on a game,
AND first lost the bet.
Lotsa virgins here.

See, it sounds weird right!
I wonder why people use it,
unless they intend the pun.

The game was pretty exciting actually,
and you see the guys shouting and yelling profanities..
it's really funny. :D

The next match I want to watch,
ManUtd vs Aston Villa! (:
of course, ManUtd will win!
RAWR! (:

PS. HuiJing! (:
Don't be unhappy, SMILE.(:
Practice hard, dance, piano and modelling.
You'll make it! Then you can buy a place and save us both. :D

Michael,
you don't read right! Or at least, don't tag. RAWR!

I saw this on Krado's blog, and I couldn't resist.

Turns out, I'm still very much the same person.
But I daresay, I'm stronger now.
If someone leaves, it may hurt,
but my life won't fall apart.

Now, is that good or bad?

What is your True Fear?
Your Result: Losing Someone

You love affection and the people in your life more than anything. Your greatest fear is that one day someone you care about won't be there anymore. You are a very friendly and inviting person, who draws in a lot of friendships with your kind, considerate, and loyal nature. However, deep down you are slightly insecure and unsure of yourself. You couldn't deal with it if you didn't have one of your loved ones in your life anymore. You don't have too much to worry about though, because with a friend like you, no one will want to lose you either!

Sunday, March 1

Sunday Morning!

There's nothing nice about this morning;
Mom's still pissed at me,
and I still can't figure out why.
Shouldn't I know why she's pissed at me?
*shrugs*

The study and exam weeks really came and went in a flurry,
I remembered studying the bitch CCC,
watching dramas,
getting bored at dramas,
looking for more dramas.

Life? O.o

I want my life to be interesting!
Lulls like drama-watching is fine,
but...
I want to have plans and plans and plans!
To work at a certain level in an industry I like.
To aim for the lifestyle I want.
To travel worldwide,
be it travel destinations,
or backward nations to learn and help.

I want to do all that.
But can I?

Michael asked me yesterday,
do you have any regrets in my life.
Seriously, I have thought about it before,
and my answer is still a reassuring NO.
I love my schools,
and the decisions (in schooling) I made.
I love my friends,
I love my life,
I love (almost) each and every job I've been at.

But the only one that has made me think twice was entering Poly.
Poly is great, the life, the modules I took, the independence -
they are all great for me, growing up.

Entering University from Poly however, is so very hard.
You know, they always tell you:
Oh no worries, your O levels results are so awesome!
You'll definitely top your course,
and make it among the top5% to Uni.

W h a t b u l l s h i t .

*sighs*
I really really want to get to University!
I don't want to have to study a part-time degree.

Choosing the JC route
with its Chinese, tons of Math and mugging,
almost seemed worth it.

(:
What a heavy topic for yesterday huh..
It was our 6th month celebration! (:

I didn't take pictures,
'cause I want to remember the day itself,
not remember it was full of camwhoring.

Anyway.
Michael and I went to catch Marley and Me. (:
I thought it was a pretty good show!
Considering that most made-from-books movies are terrible...
The transitions are pretty funny too,
and interesting.

Boo Michael! (:
He was totally for butchering Marley
and getting a new frisky puppy.
GRRRRRR!

After, we went to 1twentysix for dinner and drinks.
The place is A W E S O M E !
I can see why they had wanted to take over Jazz,
Jazz has the good music and food,
while 1twentysix has awesome decor and atmosphere.

But it is so overpriced,
though the service was pretty great.
Think: polished cultery and napkin across lap.
Manager (is he?) serving us, personally.

Poor Michael feels stressed. HAHA.
*hugs*

I'm not really in the mood to blog now but...
Michael,
cheers to riches and happiness! :D
(I think that pretty much sums up everything, doesn't it?
Ambitions, dreams and all. [: )

PS. HuiJing, I wouldn't laugh at you. (:
HuiJing <3 Jonathan........! HAHA!
