What a well, emotional day. I’ve gone from being very happy to rather disappointed, from I’m-ready-to-murder-someone to dead sleepy.
But the most interesting:-
Reasons to be Fully, Completely and Utterly Pissed:
ONE. I really do not like children who climb furniture, crush papers and whine in the name of bullying tutors. They are really mean; and thieving as they know their tutors are helpless figureheads who cannot punish, scold and kill them.
TWO. I HATE dogs who have no toys and therefore chew my slippers to ribbons. *&$%#&*(&! D:
THREE. People who cannot say “Excuse me” and push past me, stomping on my toes at the same time.
I’d complain more, but it’s unhealthy. I think. It may cause wrinkles.
On a happier note, I managed to spend lots of time with Michael yesterday despite our schedules. They are not hectic and crazily packed schedules to be honest, just that we have to be where our schedule demands – him at work and me in school or in transit to tuition.
Seriously, just the thought gives me shudders. I have come to dread Wednesdays and Fridays.
Yesterday, Michael and I made a very Singapore’s heritage – ish tour to Geylang; famous for being a legalized red light district. Of course, we went there not to indulge in their offerings; but to try Singapore’s supposedly best food.
I say supposedly, because I think it is the atmosphere and place that gives the food the better ‘flavour’. Like how satay tastes better at the hawker centre than the one sold in bars or frozen in supermarkets. You get the idea. Of course, this opinion is mine. I expect Michael would disagree.
Anyhow, we walked and walked and walked the whole Geylang area – hence the cultural tour. I ended up being completely starving, so we had a heavy dinner. Beef kway teow for two (sorry Mommy, but the beef’s really good!), frog porridge (which is superb), Heineken and grubby pasar malam food!
I am quite long-winded this time around.
