My Grandaddy died.

):

I'm the eldest grandchild with the surname;
the eldest grand-daughter among more girls.

My grandaddy had always wanted someone to carry on the name,
and I'm sorry he didnt get it.

I'm sorry there are no guys too!

Blah.
I dont know where this post is heading either,
but I just feel very empty.

I have quite a lot of memories of him,
perhaps because each visit to his place is quite big.

Being the oldest with the surname,
I got quite a lot of privileges.
Like, I get to celebrate my birthday - the only one.
Granddaddy would make all my favourite food and invite everyone back.

On regular weekends,
he'd take me to the market and buy me fish to feed stray cats.
My favourite childhood likes.

Granddaddy also always buys me mangoes,
'cause Mom disallow me from them.
And not just any mangoes,
but the gigiantic premium $5 per fruit mangoes.(:

And no one is allowed to touch them but me.
*grins*

I loved him so much,
that I used to imagine myself marrying another Wong to make him happy.
There were more than 3 guy classmates with the surname Wong then.

I'm so funny huh!
I outgrew it soon enough,
though I still wish someone would bear him a 'Wong grandson'.

So granddaddy.
