yoohoo!
me again.

okay.
like duhh.

im at macs now.
wasting my pretty life away.
jingwen's shooing me home..
not a chance though!
i want to be a true blue singaporean;
and flaunt my laptop out in public!
kia-si kia-su kia-po.
get it?
(:
it's my baby's first day out,
so bear with me.

anyway.
today's a pretty saturday afternoon,
with a overly enthusiastic sun,
and a non-existent wind.
a lot of muggers now at mac,
the students kind,
not your new york thieves.
unfortunately for me,
my booth is surrounded by lovebirds-muggers.

i feel so alone.
):
haha.

couple1.
from dmn!
the guy is a total cutie.
too bad he's attached.
anyway i tend to think of secondary school students as kids.
ha!
sorry people.
(:
he seems like such a gentleman though!
i like chauvinistic pigs.

couple2.
tsk!
the guy took the booth seat,
leaving the girl on the small plastic seat.
ass.
i'll leave the guy if i were her!

okay, maybe not.
but i'll probably be sulky.
haha.

then couple3.
sitting right in front of me.
your typical affectionate teasing couple.
think lets-feed-each-other-in-public-so-everyone-can-get-jealous.
not that im, of course.
anyway,
jocks with perfectly good aim when it comes to shooting hoops or fistfights seems to lose their touch when it comes to feeding.
but the guy seems sweet.

what can you say?
im nice.
(:

still at mac..thinking about weird irrelevant stuff.

oh!
i just read this article i wanted to highlight.

a bright star was shining at (tampines's) cafe cartel. it was...how welcome we felt throughout the time we ate there. i noticed how spontaneously the staff greeted the customers... (they) were polite and quick to respond to any customer's request, and one of them always made sure the bread basket was not empty. here was an atmosphere that makes dining at a restaurant pleasant enough thet customers will return.
-TODAY paper, 23august, voices, the stars of tampines.

(:

i sincerely hope that im allowed to quote this from the paper. copyright's 10% right?

and yes,
i realized how outdated im,
seeing that im now living in october.
but actually,
there's a stack of TODAY papers lying in my room.
im supposed to read them,
then recycle of course!
but somehow
i got caught up in this and that,
got lazy,
and the stack just seems to grow.
im convinced that if i sell them to mr karungguni,
i earn enough to buy half a mac's meal.
okay, maybe just an ice cream cone.
but still.

i promise though,
i wont be materialistic.
recycle girl!
(:

i have a confession.
i like lianghao's blog.
but it's not the entries.
it's the music.
(:
im forever entering his blog,
just to plug in to the songs.
then i'll do whatever i came online to do.
maybe that's why his counter is jumping?
haha.
wait til i get my own music player!
but i doubt it'll be anytime soon.

oh, i do read the entries..
it's just that the music is the biggest appealing factor.

i got to thinking weird stuff these days.
like imagining in the impossible way what next year will be like for me.
and then the near future.
here's what i thought;
me staying in a local hostel with huijing and the guys.
we're all being superhuman, working while schooling.
somehow, i'll find wonderful tutees
and they'll give me a wonderful income.
then when we graduated from wherever we studied,
we'll go on a roadtrip!
isnt that cool?
i especially like the roadtrip part.
imagine.
we can drive up to malaysia and all the way up to china.
do you think we can get to russia?
(:

okay,
hold the daydreams.

right,
speaking about china.
i just read that they're having this major bicycle-rental system,
to curb pollution.
bravo!
it's a good step.
even though the motive isnt excatly pure;
rather, it's for attracting tourists for the 2008 olympics,
but still.
(:

it's just that i cant help being reminded of singapore's park-and-ride system.
similiar isnt it?

and the rental rates are all-time low (well, i think so) 100 yuan per annual contract.
which is, FYI, 20cents.
not even enough for a mac ice cream cone.
i imagine it's to be competitive with the surely economical public transport.

but if the rates are really that low,
i foresee myself moving there.
totally.
that is,
if i dont hit my target of being a multi-millionaire and living in ridiciously pricey cities,
or marrying one to do so, for that matter.
i'll give myself 30years.
which is quite generous.
seeing that the amount of multi-millionaires are enough to fill, say las vegas.
probably.

oh god,
i see myself living in china then.
hmpf.

ugh!
couple3 is cozying up to each other.
time to leave.
ciao my darlings.
